Often patients with more difficult problems are referred to the Chinese Medicine Works Acupuncture Clinic because of Efrem and Harriet's experience in treating people with a host of conditions.

Chinese Medicine Works also has an herbal medicine pharmacy serving people who walk in off the street in search of Chinese herbal remedies and nutritional supplements. This pharmacy stocks all of Harriet and Efrem's own Chinese herbal formulas: Chinese Modular Solutions, Sage Solutions, and the pediatric herbal remedies Gentle Warriors.
